Dear Guest, You can either take a taxi directly to the hotel or catch the subway line U3 or U1 to reach the Station Stephansplatz, from there its at most 5 minutes by foot. Regards, the domizil staff

Hi How easy is it to get to the airport by public transportation and how much will it cost?

To get to Hotel Domizil you have to take the S-Bahn train S7 (~5€) from the airport and get off at Wien Mitte. From there you take the underground U3 to Stephansplatz. From Stephansplatz it is a few minutes walk to Schulerstrasse 14 (Hotel Domizil).

There's a reason I've stayed here several times!
It's a wonderful location. The beautiful Stephensdom is just a 3 minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, etc. nearby. Plus, you're not far from the U-bahn, and the streetcars to get to other places. The staff is always just so pleasant (this is my 3rd time staying there). For example, this morning, I'd already checked out but had a late flight, so they stored my bag. I came back and the staff member at the desk called a taxi for me and even made me a lovely cafe melange to sip while I waited. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The room was small, but honestly, the location, cleanliness, comfortable mattress and great staff make up for it!

Modern facilities in the room in an old building. Breakfast was good and the staff outstanding: friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. An excellent location with plenty of nearby restaurants etc and a few yards from St Stephan's Cathedral, making it easy to find after a day exploring.

Would absolutely stay here again when I visit Vienna again.
The location was amazing! You are right in the city centre but just off the main street so its not noisy at all. You couldn't get a better location in my opinion. Its in walking distance of everything, the underground is a 2 minute walk, I walked to the hotel from the train station in 15 mins, there is also a train which takes 6mins. The rooms are spotless! Incredibly clean hotel, not even a bit of dust under the bed. The hotel itself if older, but its charming. Rooms are large with plenty of space and all the basic facilities you could need. The staff were so friendly and could not have been more helpful. For the cost you absolutely get value for money. I didn't eat in the hotel so I cant comment on the food. But you are surrounded by cafes and restaurants so it wasn't an issue for me. Also if you are very young and looking for an upbeat/party hotel, this isn't the one. But if you like being able to go out and the come back to sleep in comfort and get a good nights rest this is perfect
There is no aircon in the rooms, it was very hot in the hotel, they did supply fans but if the weather was above 30 degrees I think aircon would be needed.

Recommendable for quiet and relaxing stay.
The staffs were so kind and helpful to have my sightseeing helpful. The room was quiet. Convenient location near the subway station and access to main sightseeing places. The breakfast was ver good.
